no it doesnt matter about the age as long as they have had there shots if not sometimes theyll board them in the hospital so they dont catch anything from the other dogs this is what they need to have rabies,bordetella dhlpp… and that should be enough for them to board thanks alot for listening

yes, the staff shud be able to deal with dogs of any age providing all vaccinations are complete, the kennel cough vacc isnt compulsory, well shudnt be, make sure u look around to find kennels that suit you and check out the staffing to make sure they look capable to look after pets, u’ll be surprised how many arent, good luck.

your puppy just has to be up to date on its vaccinations and rabie shots-they r usually done with that at 4mo. try keeping ur dog at ur parents, so ur puppy will be more familiar and less scared.

Each kennel will have there own requirments for dogs to stay there, but at the very least the dog will need all of it’s vaccines. Just call some kennels in your area and ask. Also go visit them so you know which one you would prefer to take your dog to.

That should be ok as long as he has had all his jabs and has been wormed. It will also get him used to being away from you in kennels at a young age so if he needs to go in there again he wont mind. He will probably love it and wont miss you half as much as you will miss him.I worry when i have to put mine in but they love the other dogs company

yes, a boarding kennel should accept a dog at 5 months old, provided he/she has his rabies, distemper and kennel cough vaccines.

my dog was 3months when i put him in a kennel for a week. just take the vaccination and jab papers with u. my pup loved it, just make sure u choose a really nice kennel, maybe somewhere recommended by somebody u know is usually the best.
