This girl was once loved and lived in a home with a couple, even sleeping with them in their bed at night. The woman discovered she was pregnant and they dumped the dog at the pound, stating they did not care what happened to her. This pup would have been put to sleep tomorrow morning had a man named Ryan from Denver not made the trip all the way to Burns Flat, Oklahoma to pick her up today. She is now safe in Colorado Springs, CO. where she will be fostered until a forever home can be found.

This beautiful girl’s name is Bryndelyn. She is scared, timid, and shy, and likely really confused; first at an outdoor shelter – not understanding why, a long trip by car (fearfully ducking when passing bridges), and now a new home that’s just temporary. Add to this, she has recently had a litter of puppies.She will be spayed as soon as she settles into her new surroundings. She didn’t do anything wrong, except to have irresponsible selfish owners. Can you find it in your heart to love her and give her the real love and security she deserves? Please share this with anyone who may need a best friend and all the loving they could ever ask for!

Also , pet owners is caring for a dog hardwork? I want a medium to small dog that doesn’t get so big. Its been a while since I cared for another animal and I am not aware of the responsiblity can you give me some feedback with your experience? I’m thinking of maybe getting something like a puggle.

Rocky – RIP 6/11/2008

Rest in peace my best friend Rocky. Rocky died in the evening of 6-11 at the vets of acute pancreas. On Sunday we went to JIms farm and he found a old bone and ate it before he could be stopped. He started getting sick on Tuesday after noon. Wednsday mid morning I took him to the vets where we discovered he had a bad temperature of 106.5. He got hooked up to a I.V. and they ran blood tests which most of it came back bad. The X Ray they took also came back not good. The vet started thinking that it was acute pancreas. They ran a test and it came back positive. The Vet said that if he got through the first 24 hours his chances would improve but he was very, very sick. I stayed there until about 12:15 p.m. then I had to leave. I got the call from the Vet about 11:50 p.m. As soon as I heard her voice I knew that he was gone. The Vet thinks that he died right after she left after 8:00 p.m. cause she found him in the same position as when she left.

Good bye my loyal friend. For almost 12 years you have been by my side and with me almost all the time. You went with me to work, you’d go with me at night time if there was errands to be ran. I fixed the back of the truck as comfortable as I could for you with dog beds to lay on and sleep, a bucket kept in the back that had water in it for you to drink, and a rope for you to be hooked on to get in and out of the truck if you wanted too. There was times I’d unhook you so you could run around and play. In the summer when it got really hot I’d unhook you and hose you off with water from the hose to cool you off (which you hated and couldn’t understand why I did it). I kept the sliding window open for you in nice weather so you could get fresh air blowing in as we drove down the road. I’d look in my side view mirror to see you with your head out looking in front of us as if to see where we were going or I’d look in the rear view mirror to see you sitting in the back looking up front and threw the front window. When you’d see me walking towards the truck from the side that the sliding window was on you’d stick your head out and I’d stop to pet you.
Never again can I pet you and you put your paw across my arm.
You were one of the most loyal and happy best friends and companion that I could have. I hope you know how much I love you and what you mean to me.
Home and the truck (or as I would call the truck Rocky’s moving house) will be empty and lonely with you not here. With you gone there’s a emptiness now that can never again be filled. With you gone a part of what made me happy is gone now for ever.
I wish I could’ve been with you to hold, comfort, pet you and tell you I love you one last time as you went into your final sleep. Maybe you left me the way you did to save me the pain of having to go threw that. Showing and telling me one last time that you love me.
I love you and miss you always. Know that I will always love you and you’ll always be with me inside my heart. You can never be replaced nor will you ever be forgotten.

I want to fly to Atlanta Georgia, PERMANENTLY on July 15th, one way flight.

I have some items I want to bring with me including about 2 suitcases of clothes, a blanket, a 32″ TV, a 24″ Computer Screen, and my computer

Also, I have a Yellow Lab who is about 65 pounds.

One day Foo Foo was hanging over the stair way. I decided to throw a toy ball to her. Little did I know she’d take to this game with such passion! Now she’ll hang out in the stairway just to play! Funny cat!

We have all heard the saying that dogs are man’s best friend, thanks to their loyalty, intelligence, devotion and boundless affection.

For all of the joy that your dog brings to your life, the least he deserves is a safe, comfortable place to pass the time and sleep at night. You wouldn’t ask your best human friend to sleep in a cramped little box under the stairs, so why should expect your trusty canine pal to do the same?

Owning a dog is a big responsibility and buying the right dog cage is essential for your new pet’s health and all-round happiness. Dogs are full of energy and can cause all kinds of mischief if they are left at home unattended. Equally, the home is full of hazards for curious puppies, so they need to have a comfortable place where they can play and keep out of danger.

- All dogs attending the party should have at least one person who the dog feels comfortable around present at the party. If a guardian for the dog is not able to attend your party, the dog should not attend either. Unless you feel comfortable enough with watching the dog yourself, you do not one to be held liable if something happens to the dog.

- In case any of the dogs’ guardians do not bring waste bags for their dogs, make sure to have plenty on hand. This is especially true if the party is at a dog park or other public facility. Be sure to leave the location in the same condition that it was in prior to the party.

- To avoid any potential scuffles between the party animals, only invite dogs that your dog already knows and feels comfortable with. If your best friend’s dog is sweet, but just doesn’t get along with your dog for some reason, it may be best to leave them off of the guest list. If you want to invite a dog who your dog has never met, set up a meeting between your dog and the other dog so that they can become acquainted before the party. Definitely leave canine bullies off of the guest list.

- If you plan to have an outdoor party at a dog park or in your backyard, make sure that you have a contingency plan in the event of bad weather.

- If you invite dogs that have not yet been spayed or neutered, make sure that you alert the parents of the other dogs at the party. Also, if you think that it is necessary, make sure that the parents of these dogs keep an especially close eye on their pet.

- Make sure to only provide treats that are deemed safe for dogs. If you are unsure about the dog toxicity of any of the treats that you want to give out at your party, consult your veterinarian. Also, it is a good idea to talk with the owners of the dog party guests beforehand to check if their dog is allergic to a particular food or ingredient.
