Question by xshadow: would it be a bad idea to have pet rats in my bedroom?
im thinking about getting rats, so was wondering if it’d be a bad idea to have pet rats in my bedroom, because there are always wild mice coming in the house in the winter time. the mice get in the house from in my bedroom, i believe..when they do come in, i tend to find mice poop on blankets which are in my closet and their poop on my carpet too. i haven’t ever seen any mice or their poo anywhere else in the house besides in my bedroom…so would it be a bad idea to have the rats cage in my bedroom? or would it be okay?

I don’t think it would be a bad idea, just make sure your wild mice don’t get up in your rats cage. If they do then one might kill the other.

Question by : What is the craziest thing you have ever done for you pet?
I have done a lot of things to make my pets comfortable, one of them being laying on the floor in my Dad’s shed, half asleep, on some blankets and towles, until past midnight (I think it was about 3 AM) after our dog was recovering from a seizure. All four of us laid down there in the floor with him for hours!
And if you read my last post I even let my kitten keep my bed and pillow all to herself after she was in pain from her spaying yesterday. I got to sleep on the floor next to my bed.
So, what is the craziest thing you have done for your pet(s)?
lol, my grandma’s cat liked to stick his head in our shoes too! Even my brother’s boots which would probably kill a person if you smelled them. 0.o
It is really sweet when they feel comfortable enough to lay on/with you! I love it when our kitties come and lay with me, but of course right when they lay down I have to go to the bathroom and ruin the moment!
lol, Yeah I’ve heard they do stink pretty bad! But I guess if you love the animal you learn how to put up with it.
lol! o my god! I did the same thing to our dog!!! I thought she was choking on her rawhide cuz’ it was way back in her throat, so I did the hymlic on her. As it turns out she wasn’t choking. I’m still teased about that one. -_-”

given my cat a shoe so she can shove her head inside it cause she likes the smell… Weird cat lol
