Found this strange mammal hiding out in the blankets on the couch. So that’s why the couch is always covered with white hair!

So what, I’m comfortable

Simon enjoys Mom and Dad’s bed and will go to bed before us to warm it up. The trouble is, it is not amused when it is time for him to go to his bed. He gets this "oh no" look in his face. This shot was taken without turning on the light last night. We have a cedar chest at the end of the bed that we have now padded with a thick blanket doubled over, and of course with a pillow and one of his favorite stuffed animals so that he can be near Mom and Dad without hogging up the bed at night. Spoiled? of course!

Jimmy Dean wrapped himself up tight in his blankets but he left his muzzle out while sleeping for fresh air.

Q&A: How do I get my dog to stop shredding her bed?

Question by Jill M: How do I get my dog to stop shredding her bed?
I crate my dog and I try to put a dog bed in there for her so she has something soft to lay on but every time I do I come home and the bed is completely ripped apart. I’ve tried blankets, dog beds, furry pads, supposedly indestructable beds and yet she has ripped every single one apart. She has bones and kongs and toys in there for her to pass the time, but it doesn’t help.
She’s in there for 8 hrs while I’m at work.
She will be 2 in April and we do take her to our local dog park to get exercise. I cannot take her to work and there is nothing wrong with keeping a dog in a crate.
