Ron turned one year old on April 16, 2009. I finally got a video of his new favorite toy, a full size colorful tennis ball! Oh, and he also really loves me to drape his towels/blankets over top his cage (so he can then pull them off!).

Question by toadstoolcouch: Is it ok to throw pet rats?
I noticed my rats like to drop from the bed, so I tossed one of them onto a pillow, gently. She ran back and waited for me to pick her up and do it again. Even my other rat, who is usually antisocial, loves being thrown as well, and even goes psycho after a particularly hair raising ride. And when thrown together, they wrestle each other once they land. So I’m just wondering if anyone else has ever done this, and makes me suspect that maybe rats do have a sense of fun, and that they are thrill seekers?
