OR your dog may be a hunter, and you could go with a camouflage look. You can even get your pet throws personalized with your pets name on them.
Your friends and family will be impressed as they get to enjoy watching your pet in his or her own throw, the choices are endless. Your pet will feel cozy and relaxed. Just as humans, they instinctively like to have their own space. A pet throw will be a place to relax, sleep, and a retreat when feeling insecure.

The Uses Are Endless

Winter nights are cold, especially if you like to keep your house somewhat cool, a pet throw will help your older pets with aching bones and joints. Another idea to help your pet remain warm and comfy at night is to consider a dog bed. If your pet does not have a dog bed, you may want to get one for your pooch this holiday season.

Dog beds are built so your pet can snuggle warmly at night in their own soft and stain resistant fabric bed. When you put your dog to bed at night simply toss the pet throw over their body. Your dog will sleep like never before. For an added touch you can match your dog bed with your pet throw.

You can use this throw in your house on the couch, a special chair, or on your bed. If your dog sheds, a pet throw is great because it can be easily washed and reused. Your pet will feel comfortable and cozy on his or her own throw. Lay it by the fireplace where they will nap for hours, and take it in the car to protect your seats.

You can take your throw anywhere, use the pet throw when you are setting on the porch enjoying the outdoors and you want your pet to stay in a certain area. They will stay in an area that is familiar and comforting to them. The uses are endless and a pet throw is a wonderful invention for pet lovers all over the world.

Help keep your pet warm and protected from the winter elements this holiday season. Consider purchasing your pet a pet throw. Remember, investing in your pet’s comfort is investing in your pet’s happiness. It is well worth the cost!

Just discipline her when she does these things. She may be experiencing dental problems kind of like a baby would when teething. You may want to take her to get checked out since she is up there in years…..just to be safe.

Q&A: How do I get my dog to stop shredding her bed?

Question by Jill M: How do I get my dog to stop shredding her bed?
I crate my dog and I try to put a dog bed in there for her so she has something soft to lay on but every time I do I come home and the bed is completely ripped apart. I’ve tried blankets, dog beds, furry pads, supposedly indestructable beds and yet she has ripped every single one apart. She has bones and kongs and toys in there for her to pass the time, but it doesn’t help.
She’s in there for 8 hrs while I’m at work.
She will be 2 in April and we do take her to our local dog park to get exercise. I cannot take her to work and there is nothing wrong with keeping a dog in a crate.

Kathy’s Best Friend: In her words, but i echo the sentiment:
——————————–
Rest in peace my best friend Rocky. Rocky died in the evening of 6-11 at the vets of acute pancreas. On Sunday we went to JIms farm and he found a old bone and ate it before he could be stopped. He started getting sick on Tuesday after noon. Wednsday mid morning I took him to the vets where we discovered he had a bad temperature of 106.5. He got hooked up to a I.V. and they ran blood tests which most of it came back bad. The X Ray they took also came back not good. The vet started thinking that it was acute pancreas. They ran a test and it came back positive. The Vet said that if he got through the first 24 hours his chances would improve but he was very, very sick. I stayed there until about 12:15 p.m. then I had to leave. I got the call from the Vet about 11:50 p.m. As soon as I heard her voice I knew that he was gone. The Vet thinks that he died right after she left after 8:00 p.m. cause she found him in the same position as when she left.

Good bye my loyal friend. For almost 12 years you have been by my side and with me almost all the time. You went with me to work, you’d go with me at night time if there was errands to be ran. I fixed the back of the truck as comfortable as I could for you with dog beds to lay on and sleep, a bucket kept in the back that had water in it for you to drink, and a rope for you to be hooked on to get in and out of the truck if you wanted too. There was times I’d unhook you so you could run around and play. In the summer when it got really hot I’d unhook you and hose you off with water from the hose to cool you off (which you hated and couldn’t understand why I did it). I kept the sliding window open for you in nice weather so you could get fresh air blowing in as we drove down the road. I’d look in my side view mirror to see you with your head out looking in front of us as if to see where we were going or I’d look in the rear view mirror to see you sitting in the back looking up front and threw the front window. When you’d see me walking towards the truck from the side that the sliding window was on you’d stick your head out and I’d stop to pet you.
Never again can I pet you and you put your paw across my arm.
You were one of the most loyal and happy best friends and companion that I could have. I hope you know how much I love you and what you mean to me.
Home and the truck (or as I would call the truck Rocky’s moving house) will be empty and lonely with you not here. With you gone there’s a emptiness now that can never again be filled. With you gone a part of what made me happy is gone now for ever.
I wish I could’ve been with you to hold, comfort, pet you and tell you I love you one last time as you went into your final sleep. Maybe you left me the way you did to save me the pain of having to go threw that. Showing and telling me one last time that you love me.
I love you and miss you always. Know that I will always love you and you’ll always be with me inside my heart. You can never be replaced nor will you ever be forgotten.
I love you and miss my loyal friend.
