Would this be much for a pet sitter!VERY LONG?

Question by : Would this be much for a pet sitter!VERY LONG?
Ok I have 10 animals 4 dogs Sammy,Amber,Tony and Cooper 3 cats Jazzmin,Frank and Josie and I have a rat Baby then a 5 years old hamster she does not have long left she is getting old and then I have a turtle named Dixie. Tony,Amber and Cooper are very skittish around new people Tony will nip,Amber will bark and Cooper runs (Cooper was beaten bad when he was a puppy we rescued him when he was 2 years he is now 2 years and 9 months), they are all socialized but are still scared of new people. Sammy is a big teddy bear. They are all small. Here is what she would need to do.

-Give Sammy a half of cup of wet food,Tony 1 half a cup of dry food and a mix of wet,Amber the same as tony, and Cooper 1 cup of dry with wet food. They would have to be feed once in the morning and once at night. Cooper will have to eat in the bedroom with the door shut because he is food aggressive turd’s other dogs. Tony would need to be feed in the living room and don’t touch his food until he walks away from it, Amber and Sammy would be feed in the 2 cage’s. Then after 15 min take them out and let them go potty for 20 min then put Cooper in the kitchen with the bedroom door shut and a blanket and the gate close with blankets and fresh water, Then the other dogs in the living room with water and blankets and with the stairs and kitchen gate closed. And a lot of love-

This is what she would need to do!

-The cats need food, water and there litter changed and attention.

-The rat needs to be feed and held and talk to and fresh water-

-The turtle just needs to be feed-

-Fish just needs to be feed-

The house would need to be picked up and clean, She must have the windows and doors lock at night. She could leave there cool air thing on, have No criminal revered, and people to call and get info on her performance she would have to meet the dogs a few month prayer to when we leave. She would have to stay in the house at night.

We are going to Disney in 2011 and it is for a week and I am so worried about leaving my dogs and cats etc I love them so much to the point we jump out in front of a car to save are cat and are dogs that got out of the house.

Why does my cat throw up after eating?

Question by Livia: Why does my cat throw up after eating?
I know he eats too fast and we only give him dry food as he throws up canned food even faster. He is extremely healthy otherwise. I have switched to different brands of cat food but I imagine it may be wheat or something like that he is allergic too. Any suggestions? Thanks! Hopefully, we can find something at Pet Smart?

Is his breath bad? He may have a dental problem, so he doesn’t chew his food. Then he can’t digest it and pukes it up.

What do you think? Answer below!

Dog Dental Care: Healthier Teeth for Your Dog

Dog dental care should be provided to your pet as dental diseases are prone to happen to your beloved animals if their teeth are left unattended. Likewise, if you are already providing such care to your pet but is still suspecting that it is already suffering from a particular teeth problem, then better go immediately to the veterinarian for dental check up.

One way of implementing dog dental care is by providing “safe” bones, those without sharp part to your dog. He will certainly love to chew on them and swallow them. Make them do this from time to time. It helps them develop much stronger set of teeth in a natural way.

You must be reminded that there are certain dog breeds such as the Pekingese that are much prone to teeth conditions. This is because the teeth are crowned close to the oral cavity. Small dog breeds are actually prone to too much formation of plaque and so such dogs should be subjected to regular dental check up. Otherwise the plaque will further damage the teeth structure.

One dog dental care is by having raw beef bones for your dogs. They help the teeth of your dog from forming plaque. Build up of dangerous bacteria is also prevented.

Special dog toothbrushes can be availed from dog supply shops. However, you must be adept in the use of these brushes to effectively remove the dirt from the teeth. Wrong brushing will only allow the dirt and plaque from staying stubbornly on the dog teeth. Likewise, together with the toothbrush is a special dog tooth pastes that can be availed from veterinarians.

Special materials that can effectively remove plaque and tartar can also be had in many pet stores shops Soft toys and dry food that work as dog dental care products develop more tooth strength when regular used by your pet dog.

General Cat Health Care

General cat health is also extremely important as a kitten so that they can grow up to be healthy throughout the rest of their life. Cat health care is one of the most important subjects for responsible and loving cat owners to be aware of. It involves prevention, understanding, and sometimes treatment of a possible life-threatening disease. Cat health care is also affected by lack of exercise and poor diet. You can love your cat into a state of being unhealthy without enough exercise and proper nutrition.

Talk to cat owners who have older cats. Ask them about cat health care for their older cats. What are the problems and what are the right foods and nutritional needs that fall under the term elderly care. If your cat does not receive the proper food and nutrition, they may have problems with their health. Talking about cat health care in advance will make it easier for everyone when the time comes.

Natural cat food is always a welcome one for all pet owners. There are brands of cat food that contains no chemicals and has lots of white meat and vegetables. The prices of these products will vary but because of the balanced diet, correct protein, and vitamins you are going to find the priced higher then the “store brand”.

Heat and humidity degrade nutritional value, so do your best to buy fresh food. Once opened, your cat’s dry food should be stored in a sealed pet feeder container to preserve freshness. As for soreness in your cat, heat is a good soother, heated cat beds or a heated throw will give much relief to this painful complaint. Massage is often beneficial but should be administered with care. Your vet will give you complete direction as to how long to do it.

Bad breath is another unhealthy sign. Your cat should have strong white teeth without odor. Dry cat food will give them strong gums, good healthy teeth, and that will give them clean breath.

Symptoms of flea allergy include hair loss, redness, and sometimes sores known as hot spots. Symptoms of diabetes in your cat include excessive urination and drinking along with weight loss or sudden obesity. If you find that your cat develops diabetes you need to carefully regulate diet and monitor blood sugar levels.

Fleas carry many diseases and can transmit these to your cats. Fleas carry the tapeworm cyst inside them and your cat inevitably swallows fleas during routine grooming .When this happens it is then that the tapeworm hatches and grows in your cat’s stomach. Natural flea control methods and products provide a safer alternative to chemical insecticides. If you cannot reasonably control fleas with this “safer” approach, then consider stronger measures.

Vaccinations (‘shots’) can help keep your cat from getting many of the serious diseases which can make your cat sick, or may even threaten your cat’s life. Your cat’s individual lifestyle and situation will determine which vaccinations your cat needs to have and how often these vaccines need to be given. You will need to keep the shots up to date.

Remember that the main reason to spay is to prevent pregnancy, not to eliminate a cat’s normal behavior, however, removing the ovaries also reduces the risk or mammary cancer.

Remember that advice simply can’t be a substitute for proper medical attention. Only your vet can say exactly what is best for your cat. Remember to give your kitty a hug today and be thankful that they are with you!
