A friend of mine is wanting to get a pet wallaroo. I advised her not to, but she is stuck on getting one. So, now I’m wondering if anyone can give me some care advice about wallaroos that I can pass on to her. Can these animals actually be pets? How can she find a veterinarian that cares for exotic animals? What should she feed him? Any other wallaroo care advice is appreciated.

does anyone have a squirrel as a pet? how do u care for it? i just got my pet squirrels, 2 of them and they are partners, i dont know if how to care for them. can they take a bath or is it necessarry? my pet squirrels tend to be afraid when someone is near their cage. im afraid they might bite or something…how can i tame them? pls help!

Answer by judifedway If they’re really pets, you shouldn’t have to tame them. Squirrels will bite if they’re afraid. I’d either take them back to where they were originally caught and release them or try and find a shelter that deals with exotic animals. I’d also check with a zoo and see what diseases they carry and what vaccinations you need when (not if) you are bitten.
