It’s soft, and it’s like a toy.

He doesn’t know the difference between one soft thing (stuffie) and another (blanket). It’s just like how babies like to chew on blankets.

Maybe he’s bored. Get him a snuggly toy to chew on!

As an owner of a golden retriever and a long-haired cat, a lot of fine fur gets stuck to various clothing and throw blankets. It doesn’t come out in the laundry, especially on fleece items.

Is there anything that can be put in the washer or dryer to help “collect” the fur?
Removing the fur first is entirely too time consuming. The fur is EVERYWHERE!

Don’t wash the stuff until you’ve removed the hair. Washing only pushes the hair into the fabric! I use duct tape, and regular pet hair removers they sell at the pet stores.

You can get some fleece enough to be like 2 12/12 squares, put them on top of each other and surge the edges so they will have a edging to look kind of like this.

you can put the two squares on top of each other, pin then together so they don’t slide all over the place, then cut some slits along the edges, and tie them and you’ll get a look like this
