Question by Salmoneus Belcher: How can I throw a good mother’s day party for my dog Theodora?
My dog is a mother of 4 puppies and I really want to know how I can throw a part with my other pets, it’s not a human party except for their master who is me…Should I play music? Should I show them the movie ‘Joe’s Apartment’?

Question by kalamibe: Why do the laws continue to allow pet stores to sell puppies?
Wouldn’t passing a law that prohibited the sale of puppies at stores make a huge impact in shutting down puppy mills? Why is this legal? You always hear politicans talking about animal rights, why don’t they do something about it and make it illegal for stores to sell puppies??!! And, why, when shows like Dateline and 20/20 do undercover investigations of these puppy mills, don’t they bring cops with them to shut them down, arrest and throw in jail the cold-hearted a-holes that run them?? Obviously it’s going to take more than telling people “don’t buy a puppy at a pet store” for this madness to stop. For every person who decides to not buy from a store, there is always somebody who will. I just don’t understand…..

You know I love animals too, but, putting yourself into a downward spiral of stress won’t help. Besides the good ones outweigh the bad ones. The law are definitely working on this and unless you have seen a bad one personally you really can’t help.
